Ya....I started reeling him in really hard once I was in 3rd. Its like the Evo fell on its face.

I don't wanna bounce the limiter. Ive read it's bad on the valve train. Especially the timing chain stretching and the tensioner. But...tons of videos of K's and 3-4 rev limiter bounces. I'm just a little cautious.

But....if I didnt need to shift to 5th.....might take a tenth or two off my time. Wish I could get a larger tire under my fenders.

I figure drag radials will increase my 60ft.....and I have experienced lower 60ft times have slower trap speeds but not sure if it's applicable here. Traps were 99-101mph

Once you go boosted its almost impossible not to hit the limiter. It dose not hurt anything, thats why its there.

your speeds are fine for the time you are running, if anything you might gain speed to run a lower time.

In my experience.....when I had a bad launch (peel out too much).....I always trapped faster. Nothin crazy but a few mph faster. But slower ET. Get a good 60ft and trap went down while ET was faster. But......this is with a LS swap making 80whp less and running a full second slower. But....one run (101mph trap)....I hit the friggin' governor a tiny bit after the finish line. Smaller tires and 101mph read 115mph on my cluster. Virgin Type R ECU has this shitty little feature.

I ride the limiter on the S2000 every now and then- which supposedly is a no-no on the stock retainers. No problems yet, and my redline's higher than yours. ;)

Got a different coolant reservoir set up. I was using the stock one and the bracket was not meant to go on the other side of the radiator support.

This is a "nice" angle of the old set up.

New set up is a 88-91 Civic Coolant Reservoir (its tiny) and a 94-01 Integra Coolant reservoir Bracket. I had a threaded spot ready to accept the Integra bolt too. Got the bracket for $2 at a u-pull-it and cleaned/painted it. It fits great but its small. I will keep my eye on the level.

Thanks guys. I'm stoked to get some extra power out of it. Trying to be realistic about gains but high 12's on drag radials would be nice.

Got the exhaust all welded and buttoned up. I like V-bands. Thinking about making my other two joints like that too.

K-Pro installed and basic K20A map with I/H/E that Hondata offers. I deleted evap purge and 2nd O2. No CEL's and it drives/pulls fine but low/rough idle. Gonna not really drive it until my friend e-tunes it for me.

Come to Fresno we will tune it. I'm getting my build going.....

Lete know what kinda price/clout you got. I got a little one on the way and need to be careful with spending.

Just all motor no nitrous? On k pro?

You know my guy won't charge me by the hr he charges me by the session.

Are you ready now so i can ask?

Yes, K-Pro. I'll let you know in a week. Still brewing on options. Might get some OEM RDX injectors. No nitrous tables for my JDM ECU and the juice scares me still.

You're motor? GSR crank? 120 shot?

No I'm painting my car and letting my girl drive it. It will be LS with my ported and polished head 13:1 CR Crower 405 cams forged internals on E85 maybe some juice down the road.

I can't drive my teg with this fusion for 6 more to a year so I'll let her enjoy it with a nice motor with A/C Lol.

Got it tuned. Idles better. It was a dynojet 240A

226.8whp and 164.7tq. The tune now makes it even harder to hook up in second gear. First gear is silly.

Tuner was impressed. He asked me if he could put the info up online lol. Cool guy. Chad Barber. His shop had some serious drag cars there. Low 9 second monsters.

I'll update with strip times in the next month.

^ 226.8 at the wheels on straight motor in a street car - that's impressive!
