Hope my local has the mt. dew flavor. That brings back the childhood nostalgia right there.

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you the only person in the world that will hate on free Slurpees.

I wish i saw this yesterday. i have one within walking distance of my new apt.

I like these notifications of freebies. It tells me, for that day, to avoid that establishment. I accidentally showed up at wendy's while they were giving something away, and there was a line out the door. People will wait an hour to get something otherwise available for a buck or two. Ended up going elsewhere. Adversely, I did wait 45 minutes in a line to get a PS3 bundle for $200 on black friday once. Flipped it on ebay and made $100. Cost/benefit. I made $133/hr standing there. Worth the time.

Not to get into it too deeply, but you didn't make 133/hr, you made $100/45 minutes.

You can't call it profit if you didn't actually make the profit, this is what got many financial firms in trouble a couple years ago.

You made $100 in that hour. You didn't make $133 in that hour. You only "worked" for 45 minutes of that hour, but you also only made $100.

And let's not get into calculating eBay's fee structure...

If we're going to get all technical about it, I purchased at $199 and sold for I believe $365. After taxes, fees, shipping, bullshit, I cleared a little over $100. I was simply making the point that I didn't stand in line for an hour to save 99 cents.
