He says Wal-Mart was so packed, 'it was worse than any black Friday' that he's ever seen.
Well you know damn well that it was Obama phones that sent the word out that the cards weren't working right.I bet someone said thank you Obama.
I bet these people thought that did nothing wrong and that they are Entitled to it.
More than half of this stuff was probably sold for drugs. These people should be arrested for knowing they were stealing.
A lot of the Obama cell phones are lent to drug dealers for drugs.
This system really needs to go away.
I was at my local walmart when the EBT system went down last saturday. Folks said "Aw shucks" and were upset that they weren't allowed to put the items back. They apologized and said they would return when the system came back up.
In CT my friend was present at a Stop and Shop when the system went down. It wasn't a riot, but it was pandemonium. Carts shoved into associates, "people" yelling and hooting about it, knocking over signs and shit on the way out. One window was broken.
Guess the x factor.
A spokeswoman for Xerox (a vendor for the EBT system) Jennifer Wasmer, said, "If there is an EBT system outage, there is an agreed and documented process for retailers to follow. The process includes a 'per cardholder, per day' spending limit that is set at a state level." In Louisiana, the limit is $50 per cardholder per day, she said.
The EBT system was working, but with incorrect card limits at first. Finally the system restored itself with the correct card limits. Then the stores made announcements that the system had been restored with proper balances and people walked out leaving full carts behind.i'm not sure the story on this
i am going to assume they shut the registers down and told the people to GTFO, or else the EBT system finally got cut off
