there is an auto auction near my house. the auction is tomorrow and today is viewing day. i stopped to look and saw 3 integras stripped with perfect motors, about 3 eclipses and another 5 civics. it sucks to see them stripped and totalled. i wanted to buy all the cars and swap the motors.

How much are some of those cars going for? I know down in Ontario California, I used to live there, the street races would always get busted, and if the guys can't afford to pay the impound fine, they go up for auction. I have seen many CRX's with B16's in there going for 2,000. I saw one, fully built. NA. Had to be running 12's or 11's.

At my old work (Inter County Towing), we got a GSR-ed Swapped crx that was yeah ghettoly lowered so low it couldn't get brought into the yard, so we had to tow it to a garage to hold, and the jabroni ended up getting it out for damn near 1800 bucks.

A butt load of hit tegs or just stripped/stolen tegs came in, wasn't a big deal really, but most were needing body work of some kind or went to auction for over 4k, and I got stuck with my beater out of the bunch.

One of my dads customers is Indiana Auto Auction, up between US 33 and US 30 on the Northwest side of Fort Wayne, auctions are every Thursday...I could have gotten a brand new (repo'd) 2003 SVT Cobra for around $20grand... and it only had 5000 miles on it.

Actually, somebody wasn't paying his car payments.

It was repo'd by the bank.
