Hmm, that'll give me something to do after Pike's Peak

I'd be the driver as well. As long as someone else was willing to pay for the tickets I may or may not get.

Ohio must've been a blur.

"I don't even remember Indiana," Ed recalled.

I wish I could have been able to say that Wednesday. I was so sick of driving after just 6 hours.

Not sure what the law is now, or if it differs by state (which I'm sure it does), but last time I got in some high-speed trouble it was 'reckless endangerment' for going over 100

usually its 30 over posted = your car gets towed, they take physical possession of your license, and sometimes, you can get a promise to appear 'bail' on the spot, but other times, you will end up in the drunk tank until someone comes and posts you out.

you don't get tickets at 95+, you get hauled away in handcuffs.
A friend got hit on the Garden State Parkway 100+. He actually got to drive home, but the cop issued him likr 5 different tickets. The friend said he hit 125, but said he must have been closer to 100 when the cop saw him to not have been towed off.

Took me like 2 minutes to figure out what was wrong with that Tenacious D picture....

Also, the vacuum tube transportation system makes me think about what kind of research is going into low viscosity, low density fluids.

the cop could have also just been cool....
Yea, my friend had no priors too, which I'm sure helped.

Hell, the cop might have just been of fan of his Mustang.
