Wassup, I'm helping my friend with his installation of heavy duty act clutch and act 10lb fly wheel. The problem is that the engagement of the the clutch is almost instant its like the pressure plate does not disengage. The petal is very hard to push ( but im not to concerend with that cuase its a heavy duty clutch and i was told that it would do that ) A mechanic put the clutch/fly wheel in first time and we thought it was done wrong so we have reassembled the clutch and checked the master / slave cylinder and they are good, the fork is not bent. I don't have a clue what it could be but a either the new clutch or the fly wheel. We are gonna finish up the work tomorrow and check if that works, if not we are gonna try putting the stock fly wheel with the new clucth and see if that works. My last option before the stock parts are gonna be put on and taken to proffesional is putting on the old clutch and new fly wheel. I'm trying to eliminate the problem, if anyone had the same problem or heard of the same thing i would greatly appreciate the info to save me a lot of time. thanks (2002 honda civic ex d17a2)
