^ Well well well - nah, I figure Dickfuck to be the Driller. Also figure him to give a superb Reach-A-Round....

Lower oil temps = less carbon deposits produced and left in the system, and why not, add more oil and cool it as well, not like im loosing pressure or anything, and with proper fittings and clamps should never leak, and yes ive got a oil temp gauge, heat ranges between 105-120F at idle and 150-175F at wot and normal driving conditions
If your oil is only reaching 175 F, then it is not getting hot enough. Your oil temp needs to get above 212 F to burn off water that has mixed with the oil, from combustion or atmospheric conditions.

Thanks for the info, also its still cool here those temps are at below 70 degrees atmospheric temps, will wait and see summer time

Ben Wa - where are you measuring the oil temperature? In most cases, there really isn't an "Oil Temperature" as it varies throughout the engine and pathways. If the temperature sensor is on the block near the pressure sensor probe it will read lower than oil that's been pumped up to the camshaft and splashed around and sitting in the wells on top of the head.....

^ Yep - most representative of overall oil condition.

1) I doubt Ben Wa knows this yet

2) Bet the oil temp sensor isn't in or on the pan

Or existent... If it really is there, and then actually hooked up to a gauge, it's probably just sitting in the engine bay reading under hood temps.

lol tip isnt perminant, I didnt have anything too throw on it soo for the time being, car sounds great now though ! its a 3 chamber midas muffler, totally changed the torque curve of the motor now that it has back pressure

Jesus.

"Torque curve" "backpressure".

You really have no fucking clue what you're talking about do you? Besides the fact that that car has all of zero torque to begin with, you wouldn't be able to feel a change in the "torque curve" any better than you can find your gf's g-spot.
