Was installing a system today and the customer had a state/US shaped license plate montages on the wall. Decided I wanted to do that. I know I can source some old license plates from ya'll if you got them.

I wanna do that and hang it in my dining room, only I want to make it instead of just buying it.

I've got my old Indiana plate. Abel being as awesome as he is, said he's got some FL plates for me and my aunt is going to send me a KS plate.

Anybody willing to donate? I'll need two for TX and CA for sure, but I can get away with one plate for the other states. Anybody willing to send me some? If it's too expensive I'll reimburse you for shipping costs!

Edit: I just realized @klyph is up in Alaska, do you have a couple old AK plates you don't need?

I have an old NJ plate. But in NJ you have choices. There is a really old yellow. Old blue (most seniors still rock these). The last model yellow (what I have an extra of, and what most older cars are rocking). New model yellow (which is on the Integra and Ram).

Damn man. This fall I just tossed my Washington one from my first car. Maybe another member will have one?

Slush, I'll take the old yellow.

J, Drake thinks he might have one too. Thanks though!

Indiana doesn't recollect the plates. Since I live here I'm within the law.

Wouldn't surprise me even though taxes were paid on it and it's no longer valid.

Good on you Chad. I did some hunting around and they are either buried in a box or I got rid of them. It has been a while since I have seen my old plates. I may have a line on an OR plate though.

Let me know Clint, I'll definitely take em if you got em.

No, In maryland you have to BUY plates...

And I'm not giving away my vanity tags. I'll see if I can find my old non-vanity tags.

We're supposed to hand in our old plates to the dmv... not sure this is entirely legal...
Yea, we're technically suppose to turn them in in NJ, but idk what the repercussions would be. I had my plates on the Integra for 11 years. They got their money's worth. And like I said, they're the old plate design.
