It drives as good as can be expected - not to down on Hondas, but they don't drive like Mercedes, haha! Engine runs smooth, trans shifts great, it handles great...it just has that kind of plastic-ey "Asian car" feeling...overall though I'm impressed with it - I love the car.

Glasscoat is basically a thin layer of liquid glass that hardens and provides a coating over the paint. Keeps it shiny and protected and such - it's kind of like the 'real' version of what dealerships try to sell you when you buy a new car, haha

Here's the picture you guys keep asking for, for whatever reason...

are you using an actual camera or a phone made post-2001?

That thing looks mint now. I've always wanted one. How does it drive?

My thoughts on the RSX is that it's better looking than the previous Integra generations (especially the 05-06 model), the interior is much more modern and comfortable, and it drives smoothly and handles pretty well, but it doesn't feel quite as "go-karty" as previous-gen Integras and Civics because they switched the front suspension to Macpherson. It's also a bit prone to bump steering (front wheels can turn a bit when hitting bumps).

I don't plan to track my car, so it works just fine for me. I prefer it over my old Integra for daily driving / weekend cruising. If you're looking for a cheap FWD track car though, then a DC2 or EG/EK would probably be a better option.

You forgot to take the hood off!

I dated a girl once who had a base model, automatic. the biggest thing that impressed me were the great seats. felt sturdy and comfortable without being too firm.

Yeah, this isn't a chassis that I'd ever want to track, other than just fucking about. It's a damn decent daily commuter though...comfortable, shifts smoothly, doesn't draw any unnecessary attention...

Up here at the shop today machining out the centers of the wheels so the center caps I bought will fit properly and pressing in longer wheel studs so that the rear wheel spacers can be put on. 10mm in the front and 15mm in the rear with these wheels (I think they're +40) makes 'em sit perfectly :D

So, cosmetic/suspension/audio stuff is all done...I wonder how much power this automatic transmission can handle :D

Yeah, that's a nice stance!

What size spacers were you using when you had the other wheels on it? 25mm?

From his Facebook profile and page, I just think Wil has discovered the secret to unlocking a 48 hour day. Can't believe all the shit he can accomplish. He is definitely not a mere mortal :p

25mm front and rear on the stock wheels; these are 15mm rear and (I think) 10mm in front

Gotcha, thanks. Any complaints about those bolt-on spacers? Seems a lot easier and cheaper than new studs, but I always wondered about the quality...

It's a CNC'd chunk of aluminum with some studs pressed into it. Honestly, it's pretty hard to mess up. The biggest issue with spacers is lug centric vs hub centric, you'll want to measure your wheel hub ID and vehicle hub OD and make sure to get hub centric stuff. Lug centric can work, you just have to be extra careful when torquing the wheels down...hub centric is where it's at though. I've always been a big proponent of spacers, I've never bought into the "they cause wheel bearing problem" bullshit. It really comes down to the size spacer you need, anything less than 25mm and you pretty much have to run longer studs, as 25mm is about the limit of 'adapters' rather than just 'spacers'.

FWIW I run 2" front and 3" rear 'adapters' on the Pikes Peak car, and have absolutely zero complaints.

If you're gonna get a pipe bumper for your semi truck get one of these:

A friend of mine was driving it when the above pictured semi truck rolled through a stop sign and smashed into the car at around 5mph. Officer at the scene opted to leave it up to the insurance to determine who's at fault. My friend is sore, but wasn't badly hurt. The car's totaled the fuck out - damn thing pushed the engine back into the firewall. I'll know in the next day or two how much I'm going to get for it - the insurance company didn't even take it to a body shop, just took it straight to the auto auction company.

Fucking sucks, I'll never get any of that time back...and it was a GREAT little car. Oh well, at least this way I'll have a few bucks in my bank account so that I can pay taxes :(

fuckin' mad max grill on that truck. does he plan on hitting some steer or some shit?

to bad you didnt have time to salvage a few re-sellable (is that a word?) parts

I snagged the wheels and threw the stock ones back on, and got my stereo stuff out. Wish I'd had more time to get the struts/springs though :-/
