I voted because the idiots in Seattle are trying to make it a pain in the ass to buy guns. Sounds dumb, but it doesn't have any logic behind it. The hippies think that making guns illegal to buy will keep them out of the hands in criminals. Says the hippies who smoked weed before it was illegal. SMH.

If approved by voters, the measure would require background checks to be run on every person purchasing a gun in the state of Washington, even those who are doing so via private sales.

There is also another gun initiative I-591.

Living in a Liberal state sucks.

I need to go vote right now. But it's cold and rainy. I don't want to leave yet.

Not registered to vote in Dallas, and don't feel like driving to Austin to vote on local issues that don't effect me all that much.

Voting for school board people because my teacher mother asked me to.

I voted because the last go round something like 36 percent of Washington voted. Imagine that. The shit that impacts our lives in very real ways is decided by a third of registered voters. I am pretty sure that the stupid background check vote is going to pass. I have talked to to many poeple that think you can just pop online and buy machine guns.

I voted for reasons you two washingtonians listed above. And some of the seattle tax referendums. Love voting against those.

While, I dislike a lot of the dumb socialist issues presented in our state, I do enjoy our lack of the same dumbassness that is lambasted in a lot of red states.

Ya'll don't have absentee? I don't even think we have polling stations any longer.

Neither Washington State or Oregon have polling stations. All vote by mail. Goes to show no matter how simple they make it folks are just lazy as hell.

I won't be voting. No time.

Side note: I was in Seattle this past weekend and was amused at the cost of parking a vehicle in a (shitty) downtown area. Ridiculous.

I'm glad that libertarian was finally listed right off the bat.

Too bad 80% of the ballot was filled with unopposed republicans or democrats here.

You should have gotten your ballot like a week ago.

Out of curiousity off Matts post, how much is parking at a meter in Seattle for an hour?

I voted because our gov race is extremely tight and I wanted to help make a change of gov. I hear everyone in my state complain about how things are, but they keep voting the same fucktards back in.

Didn't vote because I worked from 6pm the day before to 5am the day of. Then from 12pm to 5pm and 6pm to 5am. Also an uneducated voter is a scary one, though for unsure candidates I would write in Dave Grohl and vote on the issues. I know I should be more interested but turd sandwich giant douche, you get the picture. I vote for the guy that lets me wander out into the woods, claim them as my own and live there forever.

Sorry Grandpa, I know you didn't gun down the god damned nazis for me to work through election day.

It's $4/hour in most areas with a 2 hour limit. Unfortunately (i'm being serious here) at least 30% of spots downtown are either 3 minute loading or no parking spots. Nothing is worse than trying to go to dinner downtown. I just won't do it anymore unless my girlfriend drives. And I won't wait for her to find parking. I have her drop me off and go in for a beer.

I used to love this city. But the crime, taxes, parking, people...everything makes me loathe this place.

Yeah. Basically I always plan on a garage, and that's an additional $10-15. There is no way in hell kylie would ever park the car. LOL.

She's flustered driving to my house in the burbs yet alone downtown.
