It's here! if you don't use it all this month, it rolls into next month. Currently, limited to 1 month on the mobile share value plan (which I have!)

Rollover DataSM
Only available with Mobile Share Value® plans. Unused data from the monthly plan allowance carries over for 1 billing period. Unused Rollover Data automatically expires after 1 billing period, with any plan change, or when a group or account is terminated. Rollover Data is always consumed last, after your other data allowances. Visit http://www.att.com/rolloverdata for more info.

excited.

meh, let it rollover for a year like the minutes and i'll be impressed.

still have unlimited plan though.

T-mobile is changing the game. For the good and the bad. They are based a couple miles from us over in bellevue. Game changer, 5 weeks of vacation for employees, etc. interesting company to work for. I have a few friends there.

If it wasn't for T-Mobile, ATT and Verizon would still be around $80-100 for 1 line with 2gb of data.

how much are you overpaying for it though?
~$83/mo

Looking at my data usage over the last year, my max useage was ~8GB. That means that if I changed my plan I'd have to go with ~10GB plan to cover anything. Plus as time goes on, internet gets faster, gross data useage will go up. (Thing about how much data you use a month vs 2 years ago)

That plan would cost me $140/mo.

Yeah. I'm overpaying for unlimited. Lol.

how? are you grandfathered in an old plan?

i pay $89 a month for 450 anytime minutes with nights starting at 7pm and free weekends, as well as 5gb of tethered data. with ATT.

You guys must stream a lot of shit. i barely break 1GB a month. there's wifi everywhere these days and i don't watch movies on the phone.
I listen to amazon prime music all the time at the gym and sometimes at work too.

for 3 lines, my bill is $125 all inclusive, unlimited talk, text, and 3gb data.
my parents don't use shit.
my gf is pretty good about data too, never had an issue with going over. never broke 2gb actually.

that averages out to about $41.67 a line per month.

because you work in tech. Boeing doesn't have public wi-fi in ANY office building. it's corporate only.

Got me here. And that's with the company discount. I need to get out of the contract and save some money.

There is "guest wifi" available, but i don't use it for my phone. It's locked down and requires a 'webpage login' like mcdonalds or staples does... and they still block facebook, etc so there's no point in signing in to it.

I'm with AT&T. Been here for wayyyy too long. I remember when i had unlimited texting was $4.99/month. Phones are more expensive now because to get the plan rate discount, you need to have a phone that is paid for. I think I pay $50-ish for my corporate discount and get 3gb of data.

That's a good deal. My corp discount is like 25% on the major carriers. What plan do you have?

I use a lot of data because I stream music from my NAS on my commute. I've cut that down because I was going over my 2gb a month. Now I cache them on my phone when I'm on a wifi.

Plus browsing pr0n on the phone, you don't want that shit going over your corp wifi. lol.

I think I have a 25% discount from my old microsoft benefit. I also get 50% off of any accessories at at&t. that's part of the reason i've stuck around this long.
