it's not about you trying for stuff, it's about people reaching out to you. Due to linkedin, i've had interviews with Amazon, Microsoft, two consulting firms, and a shipping company, all in the last year and a half.

Make it available, recruiters will call you and try to lure you away. it's definitely worth it.
