Woohoo
Ok so like it says my
First Honda I traded my 1988 Dodge Raider for a 91 hatch D15b2 120k and how you see it (minus the hole in the block) is how I got it.

So I saved up a little cash and went shopping and eventually found what I think is a good deal after looking at swap choices

D16Z6 with a 5spd and ECU from a DelSol odometer had 204k on it
I paid $450 for everything
im in the process of cleaning out my bay and pulling all those horrid loose wires and that ugly tach hanging there haha!

I know I need to swap to OBD1 and I think if I understand I need to swap from DPFI to MPFI, and do the VTEC wire up right I've read some other threads just trying to cover all my bases and I will keep updating with pics and all as the build continues.

i know to each his own and all, but man to be honest those cars are a dime a dozen here in the south, you can get one with an almost perfect body for no more than a grand that has a bad engine and one that has a good one for not much more than that, instead of dumping a boat load into that one id just try and get another body.

I was looking for a project that I could also drive while fixing up dont really have a whole lot in it but the stuff mentioned above that I purchased plus pretty sure the wife won't let me buy another car ha

Good luck seems like you are in the right direction but that car is rough. I hope its not a money pit for you.

Me too if it looks too bad when I get into it I'll find a new body but I'm hopeful so far is there a spot I can buy the harnes swap over

Man, that's going to be a serious project. There isn't much going well for that car. good luck man.

Damn those are cheap. I have been looking for a cheap beater and I can't find a civic for under 2k

Yeah, I would probably scrap that hatch or use it for insurance fraud (#notserious) It might be good for some bolts and clips, but 90% of that car is trash.

Just looked back at the pics, the body and interior are going to kill you. I hope you know how to do body work, I would also check the frame since it looks like it has been hit.

Seeing them that cheap and rust free really has me thinking I need to get down south with the truck an trailer. Would really like to build another B swapped EF was a fun little car.

As said before the body work is going to kill you if you plan on "restoring" it. Either way it is a project and will be a good way to learn some new shit.

yeah there are tons and tons down here, even si, and crx. that was just a fast search close to his location.

Wow I need to learn to reuse craigslist I might be picking up the black one I'm calling in the am

Wish the guy with the shell would answer haha I really need him to now I was removing the body kit from the car and a block of wood fell from in between the fender and side skirt.... Smh well live and learn
