It's supposed to come to the U.S. More hp than expected. I'm sick of 4 doors though. If they want a car that looks like an STI and costs as much as an STI, it needs AWD like an STI.

If it comes, i'll certainly take one out for a test drive.

But somehow, i doubt our shores are going to see that guy :(

If our government didn't suck so badly and worked for universal car safety standards, it wouldn't matter. People who really wanted one could just ship one over.

Geez that's awesome. I wonder how many they will produce.

There were only 1000 Mugen coupes produced. I'd guess around 5,000 or so. Enough that people who want them could actually get them.

I dig it. About time Honda kind of made a bit of a step into the more performance echelon instead of just sitting at the econo-box table with the other blandmobiles of recent.

I've been 167. I don't think i'd ever want to do that in a civic....

I did about 140mph in my EG and things got real once I let off the gas. Felt like I was riding in a mobility scooter and about to die.

That Civic in the states (at dealerships)? I'm skeptical.

same here. i did about 140 in my coupe. totally unstable. i did 151 on my R6. fuck that too.

There is absolutely zero reason to ever drive above 100. Even 90 for that matter.

the US will get the "280" at-the-crank horsepower version that's so dangerously lean trying to meet emissions standards and melts pistons at 60,001 miles.

oh yeah. and instead of those sweet recaro-esque Type-R seats, prepare for the flat soft bullshit that us fat americans get.

rabble rabble rabble.

I did 140 a few times on the motorcycle I had in college. That was dumb. Worst part was how comfortable and often I'd try to go real fast. Glad I sold it.
