I watched some super troopers last night just because of this. One of the greatest comedies of our era.
 
ill probably end up getting two of the 35 dollar packages. Pre order tickets to a movie that hasn't even been made yet!

Give me some back end and I'd throw some money at this.
I don't do enough drugs to think any of the other stuff is worth my investment, but apparently plenty of other people do, so let them have at it.
The 200% return on the first movie is pretty attractive. I find it hard to believe that they can't get the capital through other means.
I would think between Washington, Colorado, DC and the "medicinal" crowd in CA that they would recoup the $2 mil investment easily.

add a zero to that number buddy. it was 2000% return.
 
I think the issue is more on Broken Lizards end. They want creative control and the only way to do that is to raise the cash themselves.
 
Do they show a dick when Farva says "You guys are dicks"? Hard to tell on my phone. 1:14 or so. Fight Club style.

I agree with this. And it's exactly why I would throw them $100. Plus I'll get some tickets and a movie poster out of it.

Crowd funding is kind of like the perfect example of Capitalism. The collective consumers are deciding which products are worth bringing to market. If no one wanted this movie. No one would have funded it.

just signed up for the $100 contribution.

they are 2.5mil (125%) in 2 days lol. 30 days left.
it'll probably slow down for the rest of their campaign, but it'll be cool to see how much they end up raising.
some of the high priced bundles are ridiculous lol.
