i hope the 16 is nicer than the like new 14 we have as a rental right now. its fucking TERRIBLE. its huge, drives like crap, and the throttle delay could eventually cause an accident.

has a nice backup cam though.

I'm digging the global car and the Type R finally making it here!

The first vtec turbo civic in the states is going to be a huge success i think, so long as it's not super over-priced and it actually drives well.

The 1.5 vtec turbo specs have been released for the japan market. 150hp / 150tq. Pretty weak if you ask me. This is a gas mileage engine.

Which is lame as shit. All these newfangled econo turbo engines are boring to drive. What's the fun in wringing out an engine that falls on it's face.

The good news is that the 2.0t is a K series.

at least we will have flash programs about 37 minutes after it goes on sale. i see this having the potential for 250/250 numbers with bolt ons and a tune.

my car falls on it's face at 5200 too.

it's still a blast to drive the tiny turbo's just don't have any top end

yeah... no reason to wind it out past 4k ever, it doesnt make a damn thing out there, reving that high really just confuses the car... i generally shift between 2600 and 3500

I was at the auto show on Saturday. The Civic was pretty cool, but Id prefer the NSX a few booths over. I just loved how the Civic was on a podium and you couldn't touch it, but Dodge had a $70,000 Hellcat Challenger that kids were climbing all over.

nissan was like that too at the last show i went to.
they didn't even bring the gtr.... the 370z was all roped off. meanwhile, the 911 turbo was open door.
