I would be interested but paying that much for the phone is deterring me at this time.

Big 3 will just change. Google Fi runs on t-mobile's network, so they aren't going anywhere. The moment that Google gets free wi-fi to cities is when the phone companies will really be screwed.

And i'll echo the phone complaint. I like the plans, hate the phone options.

nope. not worth it to me.
I pay $50/month with t mobile and have 5gb of 4g, but unlimited just throttled over that 5gb mark. there are no overages.
unlimited text and minutes.

fi might be cheaper some months, but the whole $10 per gb wont be worth it to power users.

power users imho, tend to have their companies pay for it. and by power, i'm thinking 10gb/month or more.

If you are in a little more populated area then the free wifi locations would help with reducing your data usage.

mmhmm :)

i barely use 2GB (always on wifi) but we have users pulling almost 10gb a month. they use their phone as their internet connection on the road.

I have a 250 mb package. WiFi is a good friend. My data usage would be through the roof if I didn't utilize it.

Comcast was sued for using private modems to build their wifi network. Hopefully this is different.

In a year or two, you'll be able to snag a nexus 6 for about 150 bucks on the used market as the nerds need the next latest and greatest device.
that's why i'm still rocking an s3 :)

Nexus 4 here. As soon as I get an invite I'll probably buy a nexus 6 though.

I got an S4 and thinking of switching to cricket next month. It's pretty cheap.
