So I was looking to get some blue tooth speakers for my home office, nothing crazy. Just something portable size I can plop on my desk. I emailed my wife because she gets those sort of things from her job highly discounted. So she comes home with this speaker made by Carbon Audio (never heard of them) from a sample from her work. It's called a Pocket SpeakerI can't believe the sound that is coming out of this thing. I'm pretty impressed. I thought I would just share that so if anyone is considering a portal speaker device, this Carbon Audio Pocket Speaker is really just impressive. Loud as fuck and clear. It's got 4 speakers 2 on each side and that middle thing is a sub woofer I think. yes it's fucking pink lol but it was free so.....I put my iphone 5s up to it to show its size.

I literally just got it and have it plugged in so I haven't really used it off battery for any length of time, but I can tell you this. Its been sitting around for over a year in her office and I was able to turn it on and connect and play music through it with out being plugged in for about 30 minutes before I just turned it off.

I did look it up, its advertised for up to 8 hours
 
Cool guy, I got a free jawbone jam box from the office. It's years old and works swell.
 
My wife got me a Bose Color Soundlink. It's not as small. It's about 6"x6"x2". The sound is pretty nice. It has a port in the rear so it must stay upright to give the full sound effect.

Fits in a golf cart cubby well. I use a few napkins to keep scratches off and I can wedge it in there. Stays there even if you thrash the cart around.

she brings me shit all the time. It's mainly because she doesn't' want me to spend money lol. Like I wanted a Tumi Soft Shell Jacket, so she found a sample soft shell from a company called North End(lol) that was lying around. but it's ugly and I don't like it.

When I started this job I wanted a nice pen, so she got me a nice sample chrome cross pen

It's this one but its sitting at my office desk lol(I work from home now)

yeah exactly...isn't it ugly though? She can get top of the line stuff like rolex's and put your company logo on it, ect...but most companies don't want to pay top dollar for stuff so her company shows them less expensive versions of what they are looking for, Like North End lol

i just want a decent blue tooth speaker that has a line out. so i can use it on the go, but also use it as a receiver on my home stereo. but i dont particularly want to fork out $100 on something that wouldnt be used that often.
