17x8 or 18x8 though? i would love them if they are 17... and the offset? lol

i dont want them staggered though.

10k on it now as i'm just shy of 71k miles on the car.
most of the warranty is up... 100k is only for the power train. i already used it on the tranny. short of a shortblock replacement, i have no warranty. justin doesn't work at hyundai anymore so i lost my hook up too. he went to a ford dealer :/

i sat in stop & go traffic for 3.5 hours yesterday (went to the big E with a new lady friend) and I've just absolutely fucking had it with this clutch. Nothing like apologizing for driving like a n00b shaking the whole car with a new girl. lol

I've just about had it with this car... kbb says its worth 10-12k... thinking about buying something ~5 years old in the 12+ range to throw a bit of cash on top of a trade and walk out w/ title in hand.
I'm thinking about getting an automatic luxury car or something for a change. i'm driving clients around from time to time and the genesis just isn't working for that either. I always try to back out of driving and see if they will. kinda sucks.

I did a drive by this car today to see it.

didn't talk to anyone... there was a couple guys there but i was just browsing. I love the interior combo and the price is pretty good. might go check it out sometime this week and see if numbers work. it should have 18s on it (i didn't check) and so my snow tires should be able to mount up too (not the wheels) so i'll be good for winter with the awd.

My fiance 's mom has one of those. It's a great rig. Feel solid, drives nice, and looks great. Only thing I don't like about it is the small back seat. I think she gets about 22-25mpg on a mixed commute. I know she only has had 1 problem with it and so far has been low cost to own.

my back seat is useless for anyone over 5'0. head hits the rear glass. I think it will be fine to suffer some leg room as long as people can actually get in to the thing. front seats can make some more room for the guys in the back.
of course, just my luck, everyone i work with is like 6-0 to 6'4. lol but i'm not interested in driving a 750Li either for the once or twice a month that people are in my car for lunch.

I'm cool with low/mid 20s. it's all i get now. at $2 gas, it doesn't really matter. when gas is $4 again, i'll be bored of this car and looking for something else anyway.

that linked car was in a small crash to the front end vs guard rail it seems. happened day of winter storm thor back in march so probably ended up sliding off the road into a barrier at lower speeds due to non-driving. no air bag deployment. that's why it's so cheap. so i'll have to vet the feel pretty good and check the repair areas out. let's also consider that my gen was in a crash too...

i hear prices of a used VW diesel are VERY reasonable

but i've got about 6000mi on my new clutch. it's definitely gotten better, but still shakes sometimes. i've also kind adjusted my driving style to reduce the shaking. but driving uphill from a stop is pretty hard to avoid shuttering. I've just accepted it.

and.. "new chic"????

I keep wanting to say that I've got over 100,000 miles on my clutch disc, with a pressure plate that is original to the swap, but I don't want to jinx my clutch...

i wonder what's gonna happen with all that.

right now, diesel is actually cheaper than 93 which hasn't happened in a few years.

i tried to accept it. If i put a stage 3 or 4 in, yeah... but stage 2 shouldn't be like this IMO.

yeah salma and I split up back in june... the DR trip fiasco/high stress/etc pretty much fucked us up. she just lost all feelings for everything after that. :shrug2: I did what I could to salvage it, but I can't keep putting my life on hold for her. As Jeffie said, there's 9 billion other people in the world.... We still talk a little bit here and there and we're still friends. I'm over it for the most part. I miss being with 'someone' more than I miss being with 'her', and that tells me I'm good to move on.

i've been seeing a new girl for a couple weeks now... Taiwanese/Japanese 50/50 blend, grew up in Taiwan. not sure where it's going, but meanwhile having fun again being out with a cool chick. She's super chipper and bubbly and a lot of fun.

I hope it starts chattering so you can feel our pain. lol
