Hi guys I'm new on here. Using this as a last resort. My mb6 had a cracked valve so I replaced it. Everything went together, I've compression tested it and it's around the 150 mark on all of them bar one where that sits at around 130-140. It has compression, it has spark, it has fuel, I've set the timing as per timing marks for the bottom and top so timing isn't an issue but she doesn't want to start. I'm at the end of my tether now having spent the last two days problem solving. If anyone could she'd any light on me it would great. Many thanks. Treve

interesting. it sounds like you've checked everything that I would start with. thread bump for you.

i would double check that you're not 180 degrees out on the timing. if you have all 3 fuel/spark/compression, it should start. if your timing is off, it will have the wrong valves open (exhaust) when it should have intake air and fuel coming together.

are you flodding your plugs?

^^ happened on my mazda when i was putting a new engine in it
took way too damn long to figure that one out
:lmao:

That is what I was thinking as well. When everything is set up right, it usually comes down to timing.
