Hi im planning on doing updrades on my EG.its a carbed d15 single carburetor. Im thinking about a ZC vtec or keeping it carbed but with weber dcoe's. Thanks guys

How did the eg get a carb? If anything, I would probably just upgrade to a SOHC Vtec.

he must be somewhere other than the U.S.A. - to put a fuel injected VTEC engine in it would be a wiring and fuel nightmare

Wouldn't the harness from shock towers to cabin be the same no matter the engine (FI vs. Carb)? If I'm correct, it would just need the OBD1 harness for a FI motor. FPR is near fuel rail...right?

I wouldn't mess with upgrades to the small carb'd engine. DOHC FI motor would be the path I would take.

Thanks guys.. I am from the Philippines. I got the EG with a stock d15 in it and with a keihin carb.

Currently the car is on its way to EFi conversion. I've decided to go fi..
I purchased a jdm zc non vtec head and all the other stuff for conversion.

Complete ZC head, complete intake manifold (fuel rail, injectors, etc.), throttle body, all sensors attached to these parts, OBD1complete engine harness, OBD1 SOHC ZC ECU and maybe somethings I am missing.

I'm not sure about your fuel pump or filter.

It will be more of a challenge to do this than to replace the longblock completely. And the cash difference will be minimal.
