Looks more truck like. Still probably unibody but the body isn't attached to the bed. Or doesn't look like it is.

What are your thoughts?

A truck for people who don't need a truck.

I guess it's cool for a home depot run and things like that.

I wonder how fwd will be when the truck bed is loaded and for towing something substantial. Like when the stone yard overloaded my truck how would the Ridgeline handle it? I am curious to see how big the bed is.

I'll stick with my truck or a newer fullsize.

my mom's BF had the old ridgeline, it played the roll of basic utility / pickup well... it towed snowmobiles without issue, did very well in snow, took light trails well, got reasonable mileage, rode comfortably, and could carry a bunch of crap in the bed/trunk area... the trunk area is great for storing crap like the hitch and straps and whatnot
the only reason he got rid of it was because he ended up needing more towing capability

for someone not towing or hauling copious amounts of shit these are great "trucks"

It's nice that their offering an awd version atleast. Keeping the trunk under the bed will be interesting when dirt and crap start chewing up the seals. For the home Depot weekend warrior it should be a good truck

Is there a way to get the stuff out of the trunk if stuff is in the bed? If I recall the old version required the bed to be empty. For contractors that is a pain in the ass.

Doesn't look like it. The door flips up. If stuff is on it, you prob can't open it.

For your average weekend warrior like most of my friends, etc, it would work great and be more useful than their honda pilot's, highlanders and other japanese made suv's that do double duty.
