i have a 2002 accord ex 4cly Vtec really thinking about making it Awd since I live in the snow now. It's currently not my daily driver (Daily is a 2015 Focus st) just wondering what I'll need for this?

Obviously a cry tranny and pretty much the rear essembly but is this considered a F2B swap? And can't I use an H2B adapter for the transmission so I can keep the stock motor that is with the car? Not looking for a power gain in the accord at this time just lookIng for a project and to make my winter commutes a little easier.

sorry but converting the Accord to awd (technically the crv setup is a 4wd setup not awd and its a weird ratio) , soo you are wanting to make a f22 with a crv bseries trans (5 speed ones are hard to find) and crv running gear ? again its one of those things where cost of fabrication and parts/labor could buy a car thats already awd and has more power, welcome to Hondaswap ! make a build thread for your ride

also you would need a complete crv for running gear front+rear and you wont be able to use any of the axles/driveshaft , also none of the control arms or Knuckles are going to Bolt up , I want to say suspensions even completely different I think the Accord is double Wishbone and the CR-V is McPherson, FWD cars do amazing in the snow btw with correct tires

Ah okay, yea I've seen people use the crv parts to make civics 4wd. Thanks for the info.
And so just to clarify it is possible but just would be a big hassle? My friends tow yard has a totaled 2002 Crv with an auto trans they will give me the whole car for 500$ it's just front end damege and the car still turns over.

Civic/Integra/Crv all shares some interchangeable parts with each other and support the same family engines accord/prelude are completely different

Yes civic would be easier but personally wouldnt waste my time its not a true awd setup its NOT 60/40 Ratio like most awd sports cars and you are going to spend alottt of time and money on a AWD Setup

Ah okay, yea I got the Accord for super cheap and was using it as a commuter, 130k miles and interior is perfect lol I got it for 1800$

Lol yea I haven't don't really any performance on it if I replaced the motor mount and put an intake on it so far that's it, might go sct injected soon to
