It threw a cel when I was putting a load on it going up hill. I think i was hitting boost cut. But thats the only time ive gotten a cel. It immediately went away though.

I should have it back on the road Friday. So we will see what happens then.

And I'm going back to the dyno next week. I've got all the parts i need now

Ok so I replaced the oil feedline. No more oil leaks now.

But. Now I have an issue with my manifold.

The piece of metal thats welded to the turbo manifold from the wastegate flange, it broke at the weld. So I have to get that welded tomorrow.

I can't believe the issues this car has. Its crazy

im taking a wild stab and I hope im wrong but my guesstimate is that he A owes the dude at the shop a fat wad of cash after it was all said and done B the bottom end probablyyyy toast very shortly after having a turbo strapped to it if the oil line blowing off didnt ruin the turbo , prob threw hands up and said fack it

Damn guys yall have me almost half dead lol.

Yes I am alive lol.

Just been working paying off some bills.

But here's an update.

So I just dropped that car back off at Dustins.

And I have to say I will never ever ever buy another oil feed line kit from ebay.

BUYER BEWARE!!!

On my way to Dustins shop the fucking line BROKE AGAIN!

And this time the fucking heater wrap on the manifold caught fire.

I had to pull over on the highway and put it out. Man I was lucky I was able to put it out before everything important caught flames.

Wish I had pictures or video but I was too worried about my car burning to the ground lol.

But anyway car is back at Dustins. He's fixing the welds on the manifold, replacing a door handle, degreeing my cam gears, and this time he is ordering a high quality oil feedline kit. No more BS oil lines.

He is also putting my front and rear camber kits on so I can get the car aligned.

He's replacing my dizzy with the oem honda 1 I bought.

And fixing some wiring issues with my night time running lights.

He should be done in about a week or 2 and then we taking it back to the dyno and this time we ganna tune for power.

My goal is 380whp but if we make it anywhere between 350-400whp I will be happy.

Heres a pic of where the manifold broke at the factory weld

that manifold appears to be cast

it does???
looks like pieces of bent tubing cut and welded together to me
I'm pretty clearly seeing about a dozen welds not counting the one that broke or the ones welding the tubes to the flange

I must admit. Its not the best manifold thats for sure..

But doesn't matter its temporary anyway.

I'm getting a new setup in about 6 months.

Ganna buy a new turbo, manifold, downpipe, dump tube and wastegate

going to buy from go autoworks this time. They have some nice products.

Plus greg is a pretty reliable guy there.

But all thats going on my motor I'm building for later.

anyway. I will let you guys know once everything is done and were heading back to the dyno. I can't wait. But I'm not going to rush things. Take it slow do things the right way. I've learned my lesson.

I already own the parts. And I want to drive my car. the only way to do that is to fix the manifold I had. which has been fixed.

We installed the cam gears and degreed them and installed the oem dizzy. The car has gotten a lot faster and is having some traction issues now.

But we wont know exactly how much faster until we hit the dyno.

My guess is somewhere between 30-40 more whp

you didnt get 30-40whp from cam gear timing, that is unless before was sooooooo far off engine barely ran etc which is probaly not the case considering you can still use stock timing marks on that setup , but glad its still making progress
