so i have a basicly bone stock f20a4 with a whoping 136hp to the wheels...
(just has a tubilar srs header and a "cold" air intake)

but ive done some googleing and youtubeing and what i saw was people putting H22a4 pistons and a F22b dohc non vtec head witch would make acording to yt 170bhp but i was wondering if this even real and if it would wotk with the stock ecu or should i invest in a hondata

anyway i would priciate if people would help me out

lol made a whopping 136 hp at the crank on its best day in 1993 lol and swapping it to a h22 would be easiest route forget about building the motor its a economy motor meant to run smooth and get good mpgs

sadly i dont have h22 money and this would be the fun and cheap option for me inorder to not have any problems with the law and the insurance company (if its meant for good mpg"s the failed shes a guzzler XD

.... when you get into building frankenstein motors it wont be cheap or fun or reliable , and just judging by this post im assuming your car is wide open throttle all the time and CEL on with multiple codes prob missing/unplugged oxygen sensors ersumshit, if cant afford it then just drive it as is and save ... if you wanted a sports car should have bought one instead of a economy family sedan

no its exualy in really nice shape has only 175xxxkm on it of granny driving even just stock suspension on my prelude V and everything so yeah it was just a question and looking at you i assume youre from america where you can go to the junk and grab a h22 out of a car for 250 here it has already been done for us and we pay 4 grand for a h22 so no idk about you but i font have 4 grand just for the engine that is without the gearbox ecu wireing motormounts axels and all that sweet jazz

oh luckily prelude and not accord but like I said same note just save your $$$$ , I promise you doing the head conversion is just going to be a pain in the ass and shorten the motors lifespan, and if can then turbocharge it on 5-8lbs on stock motor should put you over the 200whp range

alright thx ill take youre advise if i do use a h22 whats youre advise to swap it as neatly as possible (just get a prelude with a h22 as donorcar or somethng els?)

if they are the same OBD generation you just need the h22 and the ecu , it uses same mounts etc and can reuse your trans + axles
