calesta, youre a tricky bastard. but i respect you cause you do know what youre talking bout. i should have ended this a long time ago by saying this-boring or just stroking wont pick up that much, but doing both will.
but tell me how paper thin your cylinder walls are? have you machined the block to piston height? you gonna use an o-ring gasket?

I still have plenty of room with my cylinder walls. I have reduced the piston to deck height, but not by machining the block. I do not use an O-ring gasket. Take a look:

that looks like my block that got stole a few months ago...nice picture but the saran wrap kinda hides some of the view.

something just looks odd to me tho...you say you machined 4mm from each cylinder, but i pictured that in my head to look thinner than that.

Careful what you're saying there cowboy.

:withstupid:

If that looks like your block that was stolen a few months ago, then how did I take the picture in February? I know exactly where that block came from, and I know exactly who owned it before me. Is yours a GSR block with Golden Eagle sleeves and a notch for a monster turbo on the front? No. I didn't think so. Go look somewhere else for your stolen block.

I never said I machined 4mm from each cylinder. I just said that it was an 85mm bore. That is all.

so in turn the benefit is longevity, stability, and power.

how can u tell? all honda blocks look the same to me(ie. b18 looks just like the other b18 sittin next to it), unless one is blown up or has cracks in it.

:wtf2:

what the fuck are you talking about???????

cant a nigga joke around bout some shit like that? like i could tell it was "my" block by seeing a top view with saran wrap? gets a grip people.

ok, so has the gsr been resleeved? cause last time i checked, they didnt come from the factory with 85mm bores. its still lookin funny...i looked at both my b16's, and they both look the same basing wall thickness on head stud holes.

No, don't joke around with shit like that.

I don't care if you assume everyone in the world should have known that you couldn't tell just from the top view of one of the cylinders... don't joke about that crap. Ever.

Yes, the engine has been resleeved. This IS a thread asking about resleeving engines, is it not? Anyway, if you've worked on as many Hondas as you imply that you have, you would be able to tell that the sleeve in my block is NOT stock after only about 2 seconds of staring at the picture.

Calesta, I could tell that it was not stock. Look at the webbing in the coolant passage simplyfast. If you have worked on everthing you say you have in your posts, that would be the most obvious thing to note. B)

B20? No, at least not for me. It was sent to Golden Eagle as a core for another sleeve job. I traded it in towards my GSR block.

:)
