Its 3:00am here and i am watching breaking news on ABC. Its been CONFIRMED that Saddam Hussein has been captured in Iraq!! He was found hiding in a basement in Tikrit. He is currently being held in custody.

they are also saying that people who knew him have been brought in to positively identify him and they all say its him.

he was actually in custody for a few days but they did not want to break the story until his identity was confirmed. also, they are conducting DNA tests to further confirm his identity.

According to the news conference he was captured on Saturday night at around 21:00 Baghdad time. Anyway who cares when, at least he was caught. Hopefully attacks on troops will slow down, and we can work on getting everything as straight there as we can and get the hell out.

i don't see a look-alike chillin' in a basement with 750k....im thinkin they got his ass, and they should line up the entire US military in 2 lines, give all of them sticks and/or cattle prods, and make saddam walk between the two lines.

the lines should also end at a cliff.
