Ok guys my friend has a 93 hatch si with a greddy kit on it. We went to get it dyno/tunned and it made 209hp at 8psi with a blown head gasket. He put a new thicker head gasket on it and a cam gear. The thing is he is going to drop a fully built b18 with a turbo in his car and said he would sell me everything he has on his hatch right now for 1500bux. What do you guys think? I know I need to get a 5speed cable tranny since I have a 91 std hatch. What else would I need? Is it a fairly easy swap?

Here is a list of the stuff that he is selling me for the 1500bux:
D16 vtec motor & ecu
greddy kit
greddy fmic
apexi vafc
440 rc injectors
255 walboro fuel pump
autometer boost and airfuel gauges(he got some greddy ones now)
mbc

p.s. he also said I could have the wiring harness but I think it would be easier to convert mine but I could be wrong.

u will also need a OBD 0 --> OBD 1 conversion harness.. then all you will have to run for wires when u toss it in ur car is the VTEC and the O2 sensor.. i dono if thats a good deal or not. that gready kit alone is expencive,, if the motor is in good cond. and i had the $$ i would prob do it..

So if I get the obd 0 --> obd 1 harness do I keep my stock wiring harness and just convert it to mpfi from dpfi and wire it for vtec? or is there any more wiring involved?

if your car is a DX then yes you wil have to do a MFPI conversion, i did it on my 91 crx dx, it wasnt bad at all, just take yourtime and have confidence in yourself.. you didnt mention before that the car is a DPFI but yes that is the other thing you will need to do for wirring
