k series fit anyone? whos gonna do it first on here?

I really want one BUT it only comes in 4 doors. The only way I would ever buy a 4 door is if it were a evo/WRX/BMW ect.

Mugen has done it with a K20 - and possibly Spoon, though I'm not sure.

Tight fit, but it looks like it wouldn't be that hard. Good luck turbo'ing that though...

Looks like its rocking the stock powerplant - but cool nonetheless.

ohh yeah ive done it again...

..any way the fit is ugly....you buy that shit and waste your own money....lol

I would like to do this swap yet I'm having a hard time getting any solid info on the swap. From what I've gathered you can bolt the DC5 subframe right in the GD5 chassie with a minor change to the front mount. This is the easy part.

What I need if someone can help me out is the plumbing for the A/C and power steering. Any wiring help would be nice too.

I have the car and I can get the DC5 clip in a few days anyone care to help? :D

i'm buying a fit in a month or so... i plan on having a k in there not too long after... i've already seen it done by some people at the drag races, so it's not new.

And the fit isn't THAT ugly. I don't like that it looks like the xA, but, I'm broke... so I need something cheap, reliable, and HONDA. :)

The fit, is well, the right... fit.

It's a good car. Good luck with it. If you want reliable though, I would recommend staying away from the engine swap for a while... especially since you're broke and looking for something cheap.

:)

An intake and exhaust do wonders to open up the stock L15A engine though. It's extremely choked down from the factory.

hey mike... yea, well, i "work" for a shop so the k swap would come fairly cheap, but yes, the swap will be a while off. it may end up being the tow vehicle for the race car... who knows.

either way, i'm looking forward to schmobbin it around town. i'm not broke yet, but after having a car/insurance payment, i'll be more broke. it will all come together little by little. :)
