what do i have to do to use dsm blue top injectors on my 91 ls in my crx....i kept it obd0..let me kno..thanx

look on www.homemadeturbo.com they give a detailed instruction on how to do it. i believe all you need is four rubber bushings and four 10milliamp resistors, check the site too, don't take my word for it.

for an obd0, all you need is the correct injector clips, you already have a resistor box installed in the car. honda didnt switch to saturated until 92.

Here is the breakdown.

Physically, you'll need to install the DSMs in any Honda, using the write-up at DSM Injector Install

Electrically...
- If your 91 CRX is an Si, you'll already have the resistor box, and can run DSMs with the existing resistors.
- If your 91 CRX is DP, you'll need to switch to MPFI.

Basic info for DSMs in Hondas...
Resistance/Impedance
- DSM bluetop injectors are low impedance.
- On OBD0 cars, all Si's had low impedance injectors and factory resistor boxes. No need to add resistors.
- On OBD1 and OBD2 cars, Honda used high impedance injectors on all models. Need to add resistors.
Connectors
- OBD0 and OBD1 Honda injector connectors match the DSMs
- OBD2 Hondas need replacement clips to use DSMs

That help?

im no obd0 expert, but i think this is wrong.

non-si/non-hf (aka, dx and std.) are dual port injection and need to be converted to multi port. But, they are still peak/hold style and have a resistor box, no?

Yea...

You DO NOT NEED resistors. If you have DPFI, then you need to covert to MPFI

Yo can use the stock clips by modifying them slightly (dremeling the little tab) or you can spend a couple bucks and get some DSM clips.

They are almost plug and play for MPFI application.

- Dremel Clips
- Dremel seats/seals

Again NO RESISTORS ARE NEEDED FOR OBD0 applications. OBD0 Honda's have resistor boxes and are peak and hold just like the DSM's/

word, i think you have to modify the connector on the actual injector slightly for it to work, but otherwise its plug and play for obd-0 honda's

makes things easy for my build :)

You're right my second statement was wrong, and I have updated the original post. Thanks!

The first statment in the quote is correct.

Thanks from Craig

I swoped out my stock injectors to the dsm 450 and installed individual resistors to each yellow and black wire(I cut the wire and put it in between the yellow/black wire)now my car wont start
