well, first off, what are you looking spend here? of course start with your basic more common upgrades such as Intake, headers, and exaust. once you've covered that, then you can go with other mods, such as turbo's, superchargers, cams, ecu's and such. but make sure your engine can breath real good before you throw anything big at it, k. good luck bro.

I/H/E & throw in cams, makes about 1/2 the power of a good turbo.

Easiest, tho not cheapest..
Turbo kit & fat exhaust .. header comes with the kit.
 
Headers, and Intake would be your best bet for quick HP. you could also get a timing belt kit, this helps your exceleration and a new throttle body would add another 10hp.

Huh? A header and an intake/exhaust system do help... but a timing belt kit does nothing for performance, and a new throttle body isn't going to give you anywhere NEAR 10hp.

I have a 95 cvic d16z6, with a header ,2 1/4 exhaust, short intake tube with k&n cone filter tuned with crome, made 133 hp to the wheels
 
That's actually pretty good. It will give most B16 swaps a run for their money.
 
I have the head off now going to clean up and gasket match the ports ,3 angle valve job and dyno it again and see whats gain in hp & TRQ. I am going to put a LS throttle body, cam gears and light weight crank pulley and dyno after each part is added to see the gains or losses o each part I'll try and report my finding.

Dont waste money on intake and exhaust if you are going to turbo it later. IF u decide to turbo your stock exhaust and intake will not fit. You will need custom intake and downpipe for your exhaust. But definately it needs to breath, thats what a turbo does for you.

If u are going to spend some money i can just sell you my car... Turbo d16z6 jap spec. 280whp at 13psi needs a bigger waste gate spring and a turn of the wrist and you are easily up to 17psi safely and over 300whp. My engine was just built with everything you need and it only has 4000km on it. heres a link

took a gander @ ur civ, wanted to know if u thru a y8 head on tht z6... cuz i wanted to do that nxt...or is does it look diff cuz its a japspec?

wow, not only did you call one of the coolest guys on here a fucking retard, but he's also admin. and he was referring to 133hp to the wheels a good competition with a b16 that has 160 crank hp, so about 130hp to the wheels. i think you're the fucking retard.

The fact that I'm an admin doesn't have anything to do with it... but the fact that a D16 making 133whp will outrun a stock B16 is- the D will have more torque and be 70 pounds lighter too.
