Blah blah blah....
Yum.... Everyone and their mom seems to be putting up pics of skylines on here... how about something better? The new Ducati desmo, straight from MotoGP. Pure bike sex.

The Honda CBR1000RR is advanced as hell.. way ahead of the competition in technology.

I'mma buy one as soon as I unload the Harley.

P.S. 2005 Harley Davidson 883c sportster custom for sale. $6500 takes it.

I don't think so - most of the literbikes are right on par with each other. It is a sick bike though. I'd get an R1 before the 1000RR.

Thanks Mike I just ruined the keyboard at work..............

No doubt, I'm a honda owner, but the Suzuki, Yammy and Kawi bikes are all right up there with it. The Honda seems to be the most forgiving while the kawi seems to be the most stright up loaded gun pointed at your head. if you mess up the bike lets you know it.

Suzuki and Yammy tend to be in the middle. in the end they're all super close power, weight, and price =)

ZX10R does seem to take the award for the fastest bike of the group, however unless you're use to riding MotoGP rated as a pro, any normal rider wont beable to use the extra power. unless all you want to do is 100mph wheelies.

I'm not claiming that it is the fastest, or the best bike.. Just that the technology is more advanced than the others. When it gets down to it, the honda is superior in that respect.

I think honda just makes a bigger deal about it than the others. Yamaha, Kawi, and Suzuki don't have to flaunt the technobabble about their bikes to sell them. Not that Honda does either, but I think the marketing strategies of the different companies makes it look like honda has more technology into their bikes, when it's not really the case. The only thing I can think of that honda puts on their 1000RR that other companies don't have is the electric steering stabilizer. BFD, it's a two way valve controlled by a feedback circuit, yay. I just don't really see it in the comparisons. The new R6 and R1 are both incorporating exhaust butterfly valves. I believe Kawi is doing it too on the zx10 at least. Not sure if honda is doing it yet, but it's an improvement that has been shown to help increase the torque on the low end of those high strung engines. Well, whatever, it's not a big deal. The desmosedici isd by far the sickest motor coming to the market: compact, powerful, Italian, STRAIGHT out of MotoGP, albeit detuned. But who wants 250+ whp on a street bike. I'd kill myself on a zx10, and it's only pushing like 180 or something.

Ducatis are way overrated...

Sure, it's a pretty badass bike, but look who's winning in MotoGP...Yamaha and Honda. Who's winning in AMA? Yamaha and Suzuki.

Ducatis are overpriced, underpowered, and overhyped pieces of Euro garbage. Put your average moderately-skilled rider on a Duc on a twisty road, and I'll eat his lunch any day on my R1.

I hate you. My buddy wants to sell me his 2004 R1 for 8k. I want it so bad. In rebuttal to your statement about ducatis, I agree with you, that 99% of the ducatis out there are mostly just for status, and aren't really living up to all the hype, unlike ferraris and other italian made things. But this desmo is one I would love to have.

But I will most likely buy a yamaha before anything else. The ducati is my 'if I won the lottery, this bike would be in my paddock' bike. Nice R1, how much did you pay for it if you don't mind me asking? I hate you for having one ,by the way. :) God I miss riding, but I'm too poor to get a new bike.

99%? Shit...100%. I challenge anyone non-pro with a Duc to step up, and I'll school your ass.

I paid a lot more for my Raggedy1 than it's worth...and we'll leave it at that...

triumph 675!!

The new triumph's are bomb diggity, but are not bikes that typically show up in my dreams. MY list:

1) 2002+ RC51 - It's just a dead sexy bike, and the twin sound gives me a boner.
2) 2006 R6 - Delicious top end. I like the exhaust, especially since it doesn't look like the whale penis of a stock exhaust that came on the 03-05 models.
3)2004-Current R1- Another BEAutiful bike.

The Ducati will probably never make it into my garage, well, at least that one. Maybe a 999S for the weekends, but more than likely I won't be spending 20K+ for a two wheeler.

well i dont consider the 675 a dream bike really cause im buying one at the end of this year.
prolly my dream bike is an mv agusta f4 spr. thats one i dont think ill ever be able to attain.
