freakin germans....we get chargers and camaro cops....they get porsche cops.......TOTALLY UNFAIR.......for them :)

Yeah, but they are saying the exact same thing about us.. "man, they get camaros and chargers and we're stuck with porsches"

there is no back seat in a 911 :)

i fucking doubt it. lol

i've never even seen a chevy or a ford in germany. ever. its all native GDM cars and JDM and uk imports. no one wants a chevy, for a stupid amount of money, and it still is a POS.

doesn't matter, police, at least in maryland, do not stick people in the back seat. That's only something you see in the movies. Out in LA where a lot of police have 2 officers in a car. that would be a different story. but for the most part. 1 police car = 1 officer, if they need to take more then one person in they simply get on the radio and call for it.

Every time I've been arrested, they've put me in the backseat...

Why would a cop want someone they just arrested in the front seat with them?? And when have you EVER seen a cop put a prisoner in the front seat? Don't you ever watch Cops?

thats what i was about to say....every time ive gone to jail (detained not arrested) ive been put in the back. Might just be a tx thing though.

Yup, in texas you get to ride in the back. They'll stuff three people in one cop car, its funny to see them driving by because we have hard plastic rear seats in the cruisers in our county and its pure hell sitting in one with your hands cuffed behind your back. You see three people sitting straight up as far away from the seat back as they can get and every time the cruiser takes a corner they slide from one side to the other. (No rear seat belt laws for adults in tx)

I think the cops do it on purpose.

From both county and state officers, When a person is cuffed and sat in the front seat next to you, you're able to see what they're doing. When you put someone in the back you can't see anything they're doing. A mirror doesnt help all that much, and turning around to look back there isnt the best thing to do when driving.

They found it safer to put someone in the front seat.

Must be a maryland thing... I've never seen a searched and cuffed detainee be able to do a damn thing in the backseat of a caged PI...

lol....they just werent resourceful enough. im quite sure i could break that cage down and i can DEFINITELY get my hands infront of me.

Yeah, some dude locally went ape shit, broke part of the cage, kicked out a side and rear window, and tried to stab an officer in the back with a metal rod that came loose from somewhere while he was going ape shit. Luckily the rod was only like 8" long and the cop sat forward to dodge the attack.

But yeah, its totally possible to get your hands from behind to in front of you in a cruiser. Unless you're a fat boy.

its a chase car
its entire purpose is to catch your ass and sit there with you till a normal cruiser shows up

chase cars dont generally carry prisoners... they just chase them and give updates to the police up the road with the spike strip waiting to stop your ass

yeah, thats what i was thinking...cause i know that ive had to wait to get taken to a holding cell because they called in another car to pick me up (even though one officer was already there).
