Yes steve, this is another "what should i get" thread :D

dog- out of the question. I won't have the proper time to share with it and walk it and what not
cat - don't really want one... i don't want my furniture all clawed to hell. and i'll kill it if it touched my tv :D

so, what else is there? I don't want a hamster or useless caged animal.. i want something i can play with or whatever....

and don't say a lamma :D remember, i live in a condo... so i can't really have a big pet (I CANT, but i don't have the room for it)
 
salt water fish tank. they can be expensive but they are awesome. i have a 55 gal but i dont think it is big enough. they make awesome corener tanks in custom sizes but again are expensive.

Ferret, but they smell like ass and normally are kept in a cage. Plus they're kind of scary looking :)

There's not much else that will meet your criteria. Get a small dog like Camden. She gets walked but she doesn't need a lot of exercise due to her size. Just down to the mailbox and back is enough for her (1/4 mile of walking if that).

Plus dogs are kickass and cute as hell :)

i agree on small dogs. they are great. i have a little pomeranian called Tyson. nickname is Turbo Ty, haha.

my wife wants a momonga too...and the squirrles as well...


they are cute...and chicks dig them.
 
If you get a cat declawed that will take care of the furniture scratching. If you are a busy person, a cat is really the best pet to have. They usually keep to themselves, self cleaning, and they shit in a box(usually) so there is no need for walking. I know some people wont share my opinion, so please dont jump my shit.
Ferrets are cool too. I had one when I was little. They can be mean at times for no reason really. One thing you gotta watch out for with ferrets is losing them in small spaces. They can go almost anywhere.

Ferrets can be descented. They need to be caged when your not home it's just a wise thing to do they are very mischievous when left unnattended. Other than that I think they are kick ass. They are also pretty damn smart too.
 
cats are ok but the hair gets fuckin everywhere. hoenstly i think a single guy with a cats just screems lonely. dogs are ok but i dont think you have time to teach him to shit out side. plus the little pisses here and there, fucking horrible.
 
get a tarantula!

bull dogs are extremely lazy and dont need much attention or exercise and stuff. I remember i was walking one and we went about halfway down the street(which is like 500 yards) and he decided to stop and not walk anymore because it wasnt worth the effort.

theres not much out there that isnt caged/in a tank other than cats and dogs... and even if there is im sure they arent very easily housebroken...
 
Its all in training and consistency. Thats how dogs learn.

Another option is a rabbit, just make sure you litter train and if its a male get that thing neutered, otherwise your wall colors are going to be very very different shades of white.
