hey, i just got an 89 prelude 2.0 s. I know I know, bad decision. However, id really like to convert it to fuel injection, or possible throw in a complete motor that is allready fuel injected. I know NOTHING of imports, as my other car is a 73' nova. Any help would be really usefull.

Sorry, God doesn't know too much about these cars. I'm sure some of our other members can help though.

wow! you either really have no clue or your FN with me. the H22 came in 4th and 5th generation preludes. the best version being the H22A that came in the japanese prelude type-S. it makes 220hp @6800 and 156ft. lbs @5500 i beleive. someone correct me if i'm wrong. compared to the motor that's in your car it makes about 110hp more at the flywheel. hey that's double the power. so you think about it.

oh cool. well, i think that would be a badass option. is there a more simple conversion to get me down the road. Id really like to get a fuel injection set up onto my motor b4 i head off to school, is there an intake manifold and ecu that i could get to swap onto my existing set up?

well not as simple as that. i am assuming you have the single overhead B20A3. the next step up in these preludes is the B20A5. this is a 2.0 dual over head cam(DOHC) 16 valve motor. it is fuel injection. the A5 makes 140hp @ 5800rpms and 125 ft lbs @ 4500rpms i beleive. after the A5 is the B21A1. this motor makes 140hp @ 5800rpms and 135 ft lbs @ 4000rpms i beleive. the intake manifolds on these motors will NOT bolt onto yours. read this article from Squishypanda-

After that motor is the japanese domestic market (JDM) B20A. which has the same specs as the B21A1 but 5 lbs less torque. then there's the JDM B21A which makes 147hp @ 6200rpms and 140 ft lbs @ 4500rpms. then there's the european version B20A7 which makes 150hp @ 6200rpms and 135 ft lbs @ 4500rpms. best combo for these motors is the B20A block with the B21A head. swap in a B18B intake cam (gear side shortened to fit) from the 2nd gen Integra. B21A intake manifold. B20A7 pistons ( they have the highest compression for all these motors @ 10.5:1). and throw on the '90-'91 tranny.
