i want to get a simple 4 point, roll bar for the 240sx. should i just buy one online or have one custom made? i just want it simple and have the loops for racing harnesses.

1.who makes a good pre-fabbed bar.
2.if custom, where would i look for one local. the yellow pages doesn't exactly support "roll cages".

i thought people were saying those were low quality? or have they changed and trying to build a new rep?
I have never heard them called low quality. Many people I know use them in their HPDE/track cars. Also, this is in the wrong section, moving.

what company was it that makes those bolt in scaa legal roll cages. a guy on absolute prelude said he has one and it really livened up his suspension. running 2 years with a mild n/a prelude and no problems.

sorry, thought it might be a more general question rather than nissan specific
our neon has an autopower cage.

it kinda sucks, but it does the job.

S&W has nice cages, but they don't seem to have any 240 listings..

cool, i checked some of these sites. i'm guessing it's not a lot of difference to get one pre-fabbed instead of having one custom built.

DO NOT get a cusco cage. Every single one I've seen is absolutly illegal. Horrible bends in the bars, completely unsafe.

Custom cage is always better. Well, assuming the shop that does the fab/install is worth a damn.
