crazy shit.... awesome pics... awesome story.

Would you give your life for the chance to share some of the most real pictures of 9/11? Would you walk closer as tower 1 fell?
Would you take your last picture just 1 minuete before tower 2 fell on you?
there is a difference between being a martyr and being dumb. i probably love racing as much as he loved photography. and i'm sure good ol' dale earnhardt didn't want to die in his car either. fuck that. get a zoom lens.

don't confuse bravery for stupidity. soldiers are brave. but you run, you run to live and take more pictures another day. it was noble, but ask his wife and kids would ever trade their dad for a bunch of really good pictures.

its not like he knew #2 was going to fall either.... no one did.

you try out-running a building falling at 9.8m/s^2

Awesome that he got the pictures- which are impressive- but that WAS dumb. There was no way to know that the buildings were going to come down, but after the first one did, I would have been running like crazy. RIP.

wow...that guy definitely wasnt afraid of death...we know that much...but i dont think i could have died for the photography...

Those were some amazing photos. I think I'm probably the closest member to the WTC. I live right across the water in NJ. A few blocks from my house people I know were looking across the water watching the building burn and then eventually fall. For about two weeks after a sulfur-like smell was in the air. But anyway, that is a passion for something. risking (and losing) your life just so others could understand better.
