lol, i dont even care about the lol/rofl shit. not having a water pump is scary....you think a dealer might be able to pull one?
 
Well thats the thing with owning a rare motor - it's not my first time, won't be my last. You need to keep an eye out for shit BEFORE you need it.

The Water pump hasn't gone, but it may. Right now I am looking into an "Earls" thing (Hah... think I would get a discount?) where you can stamp your design of a water pump, then let it go electric. Timing belt remains the issue there. An electric water pump would be ideal.

If ever something went wrong with the water pump, I may have to rebuild it. and fab whatever parts it needs. I already talked to the guys at Cosworth:

I am sorry to say that regardless of what you have I will not be able to provide you with any parts. However, if it is an EAA I might be able to locate some information for you. And if it is the Cosworth Vega engine, I would suggest searching on-line for the Cosworth Vega Owners Association and getting in touch with them.

Sorry Steve, I know next to nothing about either engine having never had one in the shop before. Quite honestly, I would have to search the internet to find these answers. I would suggest giving that a try and if you come up empty handed, contact me and I will see what else that I can do. There is no one left at Cosworth in the UK from the old school that would know about the engine.

When I'm done with this car I will be able to build a chassis (Done) design a body (done) design an electrical system (done) suspension from scratch (Learning) an engine from scratch (learning) and a transmission from scratch (learning).

I'll be ready to design my own car !

I hate people who type like this. Can't stand it. It's the laziest shit writing of all... even more so than Haitian French.
 
yeah, my problem seems to be capitalization. i know how to punctuate, im not a HORRIBLE speller (although i could be a lot better), but without word to automatically fix the fact that i dont like to use apostrophes or capital letters...my writing looks like shit. sad but true.

These are all acceptable for online talk. It's the CONSTANT "lol" and "lolz" and "rofl" and stupid, ignorant shit like that. I know you're not laughing out loud, dork.
 
but it signifies that you are meaning whatever you are saying with humor or you found something funny. Im a victim of commas and lol i think

thats no joke...my work e-mails take me like 10 minutes to write because i use shitty grammar and i have to go fix it.
