Was just dugg, found it to be pretty cool!

The site allows you to select servers to ping from around the country on an interactive map and graphically displays connections as they travel with varying speeds along the way. It also lets you store results of tests for your computer and sort them by date, time, speed and distance.

The cool thing is that they provide you with a way of easily posting your results on forums and blogs. Here's mine from work:

Yeah, the "high speed" at my work is teh suck.

Its supposed to be capped at 256k up 128 down.. So I guess I'm doing pretty well. It tested the same from here to dallas to here to england, so its clearly capped.
 
its the last one I ran.. The speed was the same, the I gained about 110ms latency though.

its suppose to be lower with the longer distance...i tried mine again with the london server...and it was 500 somethin...compared to my 6000 somethin in atlanta...

because you are running an async service...usually you only get high upload speeds on fiber connections (T1/FiOS/OC connections). The average user doesnt send a whole lot of packets.

too bad im at work, i cant use this with flash with our service here...id blow yall away.

FiOS kicks ass...its really more than any home user will ever need.
