to start i have a 92 integ gs. i want to make it a right hand drive car and i found a b18c1 integra type r front clip i think is 94+. would that fit my model? what would i specifically have to do in order to achieve my right hand dash and what parts would i have to take/get to do this? is there anywhere i can go to get this done?

*shakes head*

you wont find much help on RHD conversions around here. Everytime it comes up, the concensus seems to be that they are impractical in the US and really more trouble than its worth.

it won't work. you need a same gen integra to do it. if you really want it, buy a rolling shell of a 94+. i have a rhd 240sx drift car. it gets a lot of attention. some good, mostly bad. i get harassed a lot.

im glad you spoke up....i was about to list someone else as having the rhd 240.

What kind of harassment do you get for having right hand drive? And by bad attention and harassment, are you speaking cops? I always hear different stuff about it being illegal/legal o_O

i had i RHD prelude and sold it the only thing cool about it was i could go to rallys on the right side drive thru of the building and make the person at the window think they were trippin all the time and they would get the person at the other side to sonfirm that they were indead not triping i was on the wrong side of the car.

it was neat for a bit then it got to be a pain

i have been pulled over numerous times just to check out my paperwork. they stop me for any and everything. it got impounded once because it was "against the law" but they didn't cite me for anything because it's legit. everybody wants to race. its gay because i have one of the fastest street driven cars in the state, and there are a lot of imports here. also tons of people say stupid shit like, "hey you're on the wrong side" or "did you get that from england" no it's not a fucking mini cooper. it's from japan. it's really overrated. but i can drift the shit out of it.

We just completed converting a 91 integra to a right hand drive...Its a long process..Usually when you get the conversion it comes with everything you need..if you can try to get a jdm engine wiring harness...if you can get it that will help out alot...you will have to splice into the wiring going to the back of the car...not a big deal most wires will match up...We finished the car and found out that some of the wires from the jdm car harness where it plugs into the U.S. engine harness don't match up...so you have to cut and splice...We did the complete installation for the first time in about 20 hours...we cut out the firewall which I would think you would do...if you have any questions feel free to email me
Josh
If you know a good place for the conversions or jdm wiring harnesses let me know
thanks

bringing it to a place will be real expensive, its not just minor work by no means. So after spending thousands all you get is to drive on the other side... woo freakin hoo

it will cost you about $500-$1000 to have a shop do it.

i'll believe it when i see a reciept
i would scan it for you, but i don't thinkm it would show up. xtreme autosalon in federal way washington will do it for $1000 if you bought the clip from them.

there are a couple other shops to. hondas are about the same. i still wouldn't do it again. it's not worth the trouble.

well then, nevermind. I was just thinking of the trouble of cutting out the firewall and welding in a new one.. dash removal etc etc. Oh, and then you need to buy all the rhd parts too...

well, it depends on the car. hondas are a little different from nissans. nissans come pre tapped for converting the pedals over. then it's pretty much like doing an auto to manual conversion. bah, it's still not worth it.

500 dollars to get a conversion installed is BS...there is a shop in washington that will do the conversion between 1500-2000 dollars and thats if you supply everything...I have done one conversion and plan on doing another soon...

"Dave...it's the Gah damn cops"
Unwanted attention from cops would sway my opinion from wanted attention due to the "cool" factor
