yeah, if this is going on an accord, that is a BIG mistake. That is like an LS1 turbo......god help you.

stage 4 turbo stage 5 on built darton sleeved h22a1 block

the car is a 92 honda accordwagon w/built bottom end.before i put stage v turbo in i am having blocked sleeved w/darton sleeves, change forged high compression pistons for arias 8.4:1 pistons.this set up will be tuned by hondata s300,turbonetics manual boost controller and greddy 720cc injestors/255 lph forced induction fuel pump.the hydraulic tranny has been rebuilt w/stage 2 clutch and aluminum flywheel.i am looking for around 16psi to 22 psi.what is hp.range for that kind of boost?

900-1000hp for that boost range. The bad part is, you dont flow near enough air to get the boost on that turbo that high. If you can spool it up at all...

Id sell it for something smaller....there is such a thing as "too big" in the turbo game.

sticking to the original turbo kit in my h22a1 accordwagon

i have a turbo kit in my h22 accord already.i don't know the specs on the turbo but my mechanic says i can get about 440 hp out of it.the injector flow rate should be about 65lbs per hour, that's why i got the greddy 720cc injectors.also full aem fuel system.i want to be on the safe side and have the block sleeved (darton sleeves).the forged high compression pistons need to change to come low com pistons.why do all this to a high compreesion block?it should be changed so the most horsepower can be made without risk of detonation.

thats the idea....lower the compression, makes it easier to tune and you have some play in how far you can be off on your fuel numbers

if its twin scroll, you can just block one scroll and effectively reduce the ar of the exhaust housing, my buddy used to spool up the same hotside with a 1.6l zc motor and it ripped pretty good.

lower compression = slower spool.

if you spool that thing to 2 psi by 6500 rpms, i'll be impressed. Seriously.

Sell it. it's way to big.

i didn't buy the stage v turbo yet for my h22a

i was thinkin about buyin the stage v.my h22a1 accord wagon has a turbo kit in it already but the exhaust seal in the turbo is leaking exhaust, the seal just needs to change. my mechanic said the turbo kit in the car can make about 440 hp at 65 lbs. per hr. injector flow rate.i don't know the specs on the turbo in the car but he said it can produce the power we are tryin to make, tuned to hondata s300.

"stage v" means absolutely nothing. It's a company-spedific marketing tool. there is no such thing as a "stage v" turbo.

There are, however, stage 5 wheels.... but even that means nothing in it self, as the stage 5 wheel can be had in the smallest t3's to the largest t88's.

stickin to my original turbo kit(don't know specs

i am not changing my turbo but the name of the t4 stage v turbo i did not make up check out attachment.i repeat not upgrading turbo, keeping original kit in car.i do not know the specs on my original turbo that's in the car now but my mechanic says it can produce about 440 hp.the turbo spools up great but has an exhaust leak.i was thinking of something bigger for my h22a1 but i think it's big enough to make hp that i want, maybe i will look into throttle bodies and an intake manifolds to get the most power out of this set up.

These turbos are usally used in the 2jz world or rb's. the inline six 3.0, 2.5, 2.6 motors love the 1.02 and up A/Rs. But also in the ka-turbo setups they use these. Ive seen a couple personally on our dyno and they boost till redline with amx boost at around 4800 in 3rd gear, with no taper. Of course the KA is a 2.4 though. I say try it out.

Good luck
