My buddy couldn't bring over his air tools so I had to rely on the essentials..

First thing was to do was to pull the swap

So I started to pull the engine. Worked hard, and at 1:30, the only thing left to do was unbolt the exhaust, however one bolt had rusted and rounded, and seperate the half shaft from the axle (forgot that its SO much easier to do when its off the engine) and my thinking process was starting to cloud. Finally gave up at 2am when I snapped a valuble tool....

Started again at 10pm. Solved the exhaust problem with a hack saw and hammer, and for the intermedite shaft, I just removed it from the engine, then set it on the ground, put a monkey wrench inbetween the two and used the back of an ax as a hammer and with one good swing, knocked the two loose. Pulled the bolts for the mounts and by 11;15, the swap as out.

At about one, I started to work agian. I started from the front and moved back. Pulled the entire interior in about 20 mintues minus the dash and steering wheel

Pulled the rear suspension in about 30 mintues. Yea for antiseize.
Took the lights and exhaust out (its on the ground in this pic)...

getting rid of it. Someone just picked up the swap, my buddies goign to be coming soon to pick up the teins, LCA's and some interior stuff. I posted in a local forum to pick up the entire car for free, or 200 if they want to keep the brakes on there.

but the problem is, its my parents garage. They do not want me to leave a torn apart car in their garage when I go off to school, So I have to get the thign out of there before monday. Right now I have someone thinking about picking the shell up with front and rear brakes for 200.
 
Posted it on a local foum and said pick it up for 200 with brakes. I said I needed it gone by the time I move so either make it in stone that your picking it up, or I am calling in a wrecker. Proballly had 500 or so views and 20 reponces and maybe 30 PMs in about 24 hours. One guy who had looked at the swap before (and I wish I would have sold the swap to him right then and there a few weeks back) calls me up saying he wants it, he has money in hand, will even bring suspension and wheels, and a trailer with a winch. Came and picked it up about 2 hours ago. I got home from work at 930, and by 1015 it was on his trailer. He ended up picking up some axles and some integra seats aswell.
 
Its sad to see another EG go south, but there are 32 bagillion of them, and that one was already half way there..

But, why didn't you sell the whole thing (running) on ebay? Surely you would have gotten more $$ for it. Lots of people are looking for project cars.
 
what I did was lable it FREE, however that was with no suspension at all and anyone who would posssiblly be intrested in a moving car at some point would want the rear trailing arms, knuckles, ect.

ha ha. When I put it up for sale on forums, no one wanted it, everyone was begging me to part it out. People were offering me 2200 for the full car. So far I have sold...

2 distributor (obd1 p13 and obd1 b-series) 75-100 each, 150-175
Tein HA's with rear ITR LCA's 500 (Pretty much already sold)

Theres another 1900 in parts, so thats a total of around 4500+ in parts. You can sometimes find perfect body hatchs with a swap for 4000 on ebay. No way someones going to give me even close to that for the condition my hatch was in. (remember it was hit on the rear tail light and had a smashed rear quater and bad rust) I was looking for 3000 with the konig kolors for people to drive it away and NO ONE was interested in the slightest way.

I don't know, I had a FS thread up on the same forum and craigslists for over half the summer and didn't even have one serious person look at the car, Once I parted it, which took all of 8 hours to do, I didn't even have to run to the post office once. Everyone picked up their stuff and paid me in cash. In the past 3 days, I have made about the same amount of money I was asking for the car with a good set of wheels, and I have still yet to sell those wheels or some teins, del Sol seats, and a GSR ECu.
