either sell it and buy a toyoto/nissan truck or buy a beater civic for a daily driver.

the leer cap should help a little bit, but the other option is to just take the tailgate off or leave it down when you are driving.

final option: Sell it and buy an insight. ;)

Myth busters did that in a show, turns out you're better off leaving the gate up.

K&N, exhaust, tuning to take fuel out and lose a lot of power
intake exhaust, and tuning should add up to 800-1000 why not just buy a beater?

intake and exhaust should net you a few mpg's... too bad its not a diesel, you can easily get power and better mpgs from a chip/controller/thingee.... but do they work just as well on gas trucks??

oh, acetone.

Well I do own a honda civic and me wife owns a celica. I should sell it but then the wife wants to get a H2

im thinking you just might need to deal or Google a dodge truck forum and ask around there.

try a tank of gas with the cap on, cap off w/tailgate shut, cap off w/tailgate open.

Honestely you probably can't do much the Dodge full szied trucks suck on gas. I know a few guys with trucks like yours and they are getting like 10-12 mpg.
