other thread was getting kinda long....

setup:

GSR block
JDM ITR pistons
ACL bearings
GSR head
PortFlow headwork
skunk2 stage2 cams
Type R intake mani
RC 320cc
GSR throttle body
SMSP header
straight pipe to a 2.25" thermal exhaust

215 hp 145 ftlb (last pull wasnt pulled all the way for some reason)

tuned on CromePro 1.2
dynojet dyno

woot woot...still looks like it needs a little more work in the mid range, but overall, looks good.
 
The only reason you made so much HP was because you didn't have a radiator, and the car had that much less weight to pull.

+1. i've been looking into a similar build and i was wondering about $$$$ also.
 
not sure on exact figures for cost of the engine, but its about 5500-6000 i spent building this motor, not including tuning. thats with the motor, portwork, header, pistons, lots of new parts from honda, machine work, and everything else. no labor included because i did everything myself :)
