Really, spend as much time as you can there. I'm not very religious but I am spiritual and I believe having loved ones around can help someone recover or at least leave this world in the best way possible.

sorry man itll be rough when my dad goes... ive had the best man to man relationship with him. hes a cool guy. a part of me will die when he dies.

you and you father will be in my prayers. cherish whatever time you have left. its probably better for him to leave this place and be away from the pain though.

my father has broken so many bones in his body from racing dirtbikes for so long that he will probably have a painful late age... hes 46 now and feeling it - but still going out riding with the younger guys every weekend. there is no stronger person in my life than my father...

exactly. the only reason losing my dad hurt was because i wanted to be there better person and get to know him atleast a little, so thats what i was going to do when i got out of high school and could go visit him. unfortunately things didn't work out that way.

I know what you mean Blanco, when you say that you want that father son ralationship that you see everyone else having. to this day i see my friends go places with their dads or just hanging out and doing little stuff. It usually doesn't bother me only because i don't have even the slightest idea of what thats like, but when i start thinking about it, i start to kind of wish i had that.
