don't sweat it man, your bike will work a k-series hatch. if you want it that bad, you could sell your bike and it would probably almost be a straight trade.

no way man, you can get a k20 eg for less than 9k. buy a shell $1000 and i'm sure you can put it together and do the labor for maybe $7-8k.

Id put a k in my car, but at best id only run 14's... all about power to weight ratio. If i decided to do a eg project... 1/2 interior, drag radials... easily in 12's.

ej coupe. I've snooped around k20a.org and alot of the times ppl post for k20a (type r) in coupes with full interior and street tires are in the mid to low 14's. The people who are making it into the mid 12's with a stock k20a are mostly hatches with 1/2 to no interior and using slicks or radials.... and obviously with bolt ons and tune or more.

yea, the fastest "stock" engine'd K20a was pacman's, stripped CRX with drag radials; ran 11.8 iirc. then again, i believe theres a guy with a stock h22a type-s running low 12s(forgot which car though). K20A2 swaps are cheaper than K20A swaps, and with mods, itll perform just as good as a k20a(ie IPS K2 cams, i/h/e, etc.)
maybe a couple hundred bucks. but i doubt it will be very much.
after reading this thread and seeing the pics.. i think i'll pass on getting a k20

what a pussy. that guy is going to let the thief get away with shit. it's not that hard. all you have to do is act like you are a buyer and meet up with him. then either A)beat him into a coma or B) have the cops there or C)buy something with identifiable numbers and turn him in.
