BTW-I'm wearing a pair of his "Hawk" brand jeans. I got 2 pairs for like 40 bucks and they are the most comfortable jeans I have ever owned.
 
For me I have to go with Mat Hoffman (when it comes to bmx)
 
nobodys hatin on hoffman's skill, but dave mira is a more flashy rider, and when it comes to x sports, he is definitely the first name that comes to mind.
 
BAH BMX to me is racing.

Flat land and vert is where dave and matt come in.

I have a dyno compe 2 sitting at my parents house =)
kick ass bike, too bad I havnt been on it for about 5 years.

bmx is not racing...you must be thinkin about motocross?
 
i cant think of a race form of bmx...most of them are artistic (flat, street, vert, dirt) but there is motocross racing.
 
The skate tour i worked on this summer, riley was a finalist in one of the comps, and he was competing with people age 18...

I have a Nyquist Backtrail sitting in my garage. It's got a flat up front so I haven't been on it in years.

That's why I said BMX to me is racing.

I always heard the term BMX used with dirt track racing.
then people would break each type of freestyle into it's own.

anyone know what BMX means?

"edit" I just remembered, I have an old free style video that had some home video footage of dave mira getting ready for his HS prom.

ok ok...technically you are right...BMX is bicycle motocross...but i was just sayin that the term BMX is not being used in the racing form anymore...its being used when they do the vert, street, etc....but i see what you mean
 
BMX is where i started ;)

then racing atv's...

now cars.

what is next???
