!i!i!i!i!i!i!i!i!i!i!i!
Just heard the new album that everybody has been eagerly anticipating from BT.

I will be honest, I'm slightly let down. I am a huge BT fan, but it seems like he has pulled a Bob Dylan and done something drastic by producing something nobody expected.

Yes the music on the album sounds beautiful, but its not what I expected . . its mostly melodies & circut bends, there are only drum beats on 2 tracks.

Hopefully The same thing that happened to Dylan will happen to BT in that his music sparks a new electronic music revolution. Yes BT has used a number of new elements on this album that can open doors for artists in the future, but its just not the same music that drew me to him in the first place.

I dunno, after Emotional Technology hit, I have been wondering if BT lost a bit of his direction. We want things like Ima, Movement in Still Life (UK release > USA release) and R&R. I think he's trying to go mainstream.

I hope not.

......are yall kidding?

I heard a rumor that he is producing another album along the same lines of Emotional Technology (i loved that album) & Movement in Still Life.

I still respect his music, maybe ill like this album more after i hear it a few more times. . . .

Yeah, BT is great. But there are Stewart Copeland tracks on it ? Oh, now I gotta pick it up. I saw Stewart live in the 80s. ... He's one of the fathers of modern downtempo and ambient.

Yeah, he plays the drums on Dynamic Symetry & on 1.618.

and you really expected us to know who this guy is? you have to be a serious fan to have heard his stuff. i'm glad i'm not the only person who doesn't know who he is.

After your brain is turned to mush by things like Syndrome of a Down, you tend to go looking for better artists.

who is syndrome of a down? i listen to all types of music. BT just sounds like some sort of obscure underground. i'm not bashing it, i've just never heard of it.
