Renault is a big fan of putting mid engine setups in the 5 (Cinq)... or "Le Car" as they used to be called here.

The Clio is the new 5, so they continued with the mid engine treatment. A friend of mine had one of these . His daily was an Elise.

Yeah, Renault Clio V6. Special editon, for both versions of the Clio. The older gen tended to oversteer on the limit, and apparently put a few journalists off the side of the road.

Top Gear or Fifth Gear did a review of the new-gen V6 Clio a while back.
