I didn't know honda anounced putting a v10 in the new nsx I thought they were talking about possibly doing it but this article says honda did

We are now focused on the development of a new model to succeed the NSX for a new era. We would like to debut a new super sports car equipped with a V10 engine in 3 to 4 years. Please look forward to seeing the NSX successor.

so the way i interpret it, it will be whole new car. i'll wait to see it to believe it. nissan has said they were going to bring the skyline to the u.s. forever. i am always pessimistic about hype like this. we'll see what the new car looks like.
